Adrian Ho
The Artist
University of Western Australia trained Adrian Ho (b.1967, Malaysia Borneo), since the age of 7, has won 26 art competitions including a silver metal prize in the 13th World Children Art Competition/ Nippon Television Networks Cultural Society, Japan (1983). A full time professional artist, Adrian has participated in 61 groups and 6 solo shows including representing Malaysia in the Singapore Biennale 2013; the Malaysia/ South Australia Touring Art Exhibition (2000-2001); the 1Malaysia MCAT programs/ Ministry of Tourism Malaysia, from 2010 to 2014 ; among others.

The great outdoor of Malaysia: the rainforest, the majestic mountains, the flat planes, giant rivers and the inhabitants; facinates Adrian Ho.It is a rich source of inspiration for Adrian to paint unique oil paintings of it. Adrian puts in effort in capturing the various - and sometimes striking - moods of the subject matter; as well as capturing the subtle nuances. Adrian, with a lifelong awareness about the environment, also addresses the contemperory issues affecting the Malaysian outdoor in his oil paintings.
